I’m still floored everytime I mention my PCS membership to people and they cannot believe that I don’t want to keep my car–the car-ownership mentality of some people in the city is astounding. I actually signed up for PhillyCarShare when I had my own car already. It was an opportunity to have a car a)in an emergency situation, like if my car broke down or, more often, to take out a car based on it's utility (like the pickup truck/ikea story).</p> <p>It's much more than just having a car, but instead, about having the <i>right</i> car, when i need it, where i need it.</p> chris,
